This image is from the series, Mahotas, and was made in collaboration with the residents of the Mahotas Psychiatric Hospital in Maputo, Mozambique.  Each resident that sat for a portrait brought with them an item that represents their "job" or occupational therapy in the hospital. Out of ethical concerns for the safety and protection of the residents, their identities were obscured by the items they brought with them.
